 The Welcome to McSherrystown sign has been erected on the west end of town (PA 116 Eastbound, at Plum Creek). The sign, a project of retiring Councilman Bill Masemer, consists of the shape of the borough, the borough seal and motto, and the saying "You'll Like Mcsherrystown, A Good Place To Visit And Live".
